Meet Our Staff & Lay Leadership

Although our staff and lay leadership come from diverse backgrounds and experience, they have one thing in common. Each is committed to sharing the Good News that " God so loved the world that he gave his only Son, so that everyone who believes in him may not perish but may have eternal life." (John 3:16)

Lay Leaders

Rev. Paul Albers
Pastor

Pastor Albers is the newest addition to Mount Olive’s staff and a transplant to Omaha from South Dakota.  Before moving west, Pastor Albers spent most of his life growing up in northwest Indiana and traveling between Chicago, IL, and Memphis, TN to see family.  He is a graduate of Valparaiso University and Concordia Seminary, St. Louis, and is beyond thankful for the countless opportunities and blessings God gave him during those years.  When not in the office, Pastor is either walking with his dog Murphy or enjoying one of his hobbies: renovation projects, carpentry, or puzzles.
Marsha Behr
Executive Director

Marsha has held a variety of positions at Mount Olive and is currently the Executive Director. She was confirmed and married at Mount Olive. Her daughter and son were baptized and both married here as  well.  Marsha is a Product Manager with a national bank and is currently working remotely from her home in north Omaha.  She has “grown up” at Mount Olive and very much feels as though Mount Olive members are her family.  Marsha enjoys gardening, reading, travelling with her husband and spending time with their grandsons.
Jill Clausen
Church Secretary

Jill has been a member of Mount Olive all of her life. She previously worked for the church as a preschool helper, then as a preschool teacher. She has taught Sunday School intermittently for the last 30 years and held volunteer positions on many church boards and committees. She married her husband, Paul, in 1998, and they live in Raven Oaks. Her hobbies include reading and traveling.
Max Williams
Ass't Executive Director

Max and his wife, Linda, are long-time members of Mount Olive. They appreciate the spirit of friendship and love they have been blessed by in this congregation. Max is a retired energy executive, and Linda operated her own house cleaning business. They are grateful for the many opportunities to serve Jesus at Mount Olive and its worship, music, and education ministries. His hobbies include reading and computer programming.
Rachel Misiolek
Organist/Choir Director

Rachel has been Mount Olive's Organist and Choir Accompanist since 2011. In 2019, she took on the added duties of Choir Director and Worship Planner. As an accomplished organist, pianist, and violinist, she is at the core of our congregation's worship music. Rachel spends her days as a teacher with Omaha Public Schools in the music classroom. When she is not working she enjoys spending time at home relaxing with her husband and two young daughters and infant son.
Bonnie White
Treasurer

Bonnie's mother invited her to Mount Olive as an adult. In Bonnie's words, "It has proved to be a great church family for me." Prior to retiring as a Contract Manager for Lincoln Financial Group, Bonnie crafted group health and life insurance policy provisions (which required regulatory approval from various state Department of Insurance regulators). Since retirement Bonnie spends her time traveling, working in her yard, enjoying the company of her friends, and (of course) keeping track of Mount Olive's income and expenses.
